Pang Sze Khai is the Executive Director of Octava Pte Ltd, a single-family office based in Singapore that has multiple investments across diverse industries, focusing mainly on real estate, financial technology, and bio pharma sectors.
Khai is also the Chairman and one of the principals of Octava Foundation. He seeks to deepen the partnership with our grantees and other stakeholders in the ecosystem to enable their services and impact. He is an avid promoter of investing in innovative solutioning and supporting entrepreneurs and changemakers.
Khai is a member of Asia Philanthropy Circle, and holds various Board and Advisory positions in charitable organisations and impact funds.
Raman is a passionate advocate of venture philanthropy and collective impact, and firmly believes in the potential of private capital collaborating with public and social purpose sectors to enable sustainable and just societies. While starting her professional journey in the private sector working across UK, India and Singapore, she has spent the past 10 years in the practice of venture philanthropy, working with diverse philanthropists, foundations, impact investors and social purpose organisations.
At Octava Foundation, Raman stewards philanthropic investments in Singapore and across the Asia region supporting social innovation in Education, Student Finance and Technology in Education.
Mun Hoe is a former banker with close to 20 years of experience working in the financial sector with major banks. After an extended medical leave of absence, Mun Hoe re-evaluated his priorities and was on a quest for a new beginning with a keenness in social impact related work.
Mun Hoe first joined the Octava family as an Investment Manager under Octava Impact Investment, which gave him the opportunity to work closely with start-ups and high-growth companies targeting social issues. He has since transitioned to join Octava Foundation with a focus on program evaluation, design and implementation for our Education domain.
Felicia believes in uplifting communities and creating sustainable solutions in the social service scene. With almost 6 years of experience in the government sector, she has worked closely with charities to pilot initiatives serving persons with mental health issues and has worked on nationwide programmes supporting children development. Outside of work, Felicia enjoys volunteering her time to provide academic support to young children.
At Octava Foundation, Felicia oversees programs under our Education domain and is involved in program design, implementation and evaluation.
May believes change starts at the margins. She brings experience from various capacities within the local non-profit industry: traditional charity to government grantmaker, to corporate philanthropic advisory. Her past work includes developing a strategic three-year grantmaking plan, a landscape study around caregiving burden, as well as grant support for charities and social enterprise. She is passionate about developing skills for deep listening with a vision of creating circles of support for community.
Joining Octava Foundation in 2024, May will be exploring a new domain of work for the Foundation in Mental Wellbeing for Children and Adolescent Youth. She also leads a personal development program for Octava Study Award recipients.
